When this morning we’re different.

I’m watching and listening as God makes a morning. I wish you could be here with me because it’s truly stunning. Exquisite, actually.

The birds and humanity are all coming to life around me. The water is sparkling, the mist dancing and swirling with a life all its own. The light shifts and changes, highlighting a different piece of His masterpiece with each passing moment.

Wow.

Even though God makes a morning for us every, single day, He’s never made THIS morning before. I may have watched all this unfold from this same spot yesterday, but this morning is different.

Today is going to be different.

Today I am going to be different.

Yes, I am.

Praise be to a God who never changes, yet loves us WITH change.

Ever thought about that?

He’s the same yesterday, today, and always, but He’s also continually transforming the old into the new. What an imagination. He never stops. Never runs out of new ideas for us.

How absolutely incredible.

Not only does He give each of us a brand new DIFFERENT morning each and every day, but as those called by God, we also face each new morning not quite who we were yesterday.

Today we’re different.

Because of Him.

We don’t have to be who we were yesterday.

No, we don’t.

With each new day, He’s transforming the old us into the new.

Step by step.

Moment by moment.

There’s an eternal metamorphosis happening inside of us.

Because our God loves us enough to change us.

To make us more like Him.

Praise be to be loved like this.

Yes, praise be, indeed.

Thanks for growing with me. ❤

“Behold I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?”

(Isaiah 43:19)
